like animal crackers in my soup

i got a letter! i NEVER get mail, and yesterday i got a letter from her on fun stationary with cool foreign stamps :) yay. i love surprises... (i also got my tickets for kids in the hall, woohoo!)

i think the countdown is on. i spent the morning staring at calendars and calculating the weeks and days that i have left here. i'll probably take a week off between the beginning of a new job and the end of this one. it takes so long to accrue vacation, and i really need a break.

i spent the afternoon working on a database of over 10,000 names. i'm going into each individual entry and changing the name to capital letters. nothing more, nothing less. sounds boring? well, it is. back at it now...
