the waiting game

well, after i expressed my feelings about the low offer, the lawyer went back to his firm and asked for more money for the position. he's putting together an offer and i'll be getting it by next week. so...the waiting game begins.i hung out with chad last night. we drove around town and through the country for hours and then went out for coffee. it was a nice night. he went back to chicago today.
i'm really looking forward to the weekend. i just really need a break. work is really wearing on me lately. i spent three hours this morning taking inventory of the stockroom and then entering all of the information into a database. then i spent 50 minutes hiding in the garage chainsmoking and talking to one of the sergeants who apparently had nothing better to do than sit in the garage talking to me...
my sister gets back from africa tonight. my mom gets back from her camping trip tonight as well. it will be nice to see both of them.
