a chance of showers

well, the next morning after my interview at the law firm, the headhunter called me back with an offer. they had decided to forego the second interview because they were so sure that they wanted me.

the offer was lower than what i expected so now the negotiating process has begun. john (the lawyer) went back to his firm and is requesting more money and trying to get something worked out and in writing for me soon.

i don't know if i'm going to take the job yet, but i'm certainly flattered either way. they told me that i beat out two experienced paralegals. they said that they think that i'm bright and i'll be able to pick that stuff up without having the background in law.

i had the dispatch interview this morning as well. i'm not so sure how that went. i was tired.

i went to see "ugly cassanova" last night with david, ryan, dave, and nate. it was a good show. the venue was crowded, smoky, and way too warm, but i'd say it was worth it. i ended up staying up much later than i wanted though.

back to work now, i think i heard the boss come in downstairs...
