sparkly purple footwear

it was a busy day today. i worked in dispatch for most of the day. well, i also pulled a really long tape of radio traffic from a crazy police chase. and worked with the sheriff for awhile trying to creat supplemental report forms on the records network that were simple enough for his stupid sheriff's deputies to be able to use. sometimes it frightens me...these adults who don't understand how to use the "tab" key on a computer operate tazers, guns, and other lethal equipment.

i bought a microwave. i love it. yes, it's just a microwave, but i've never bought one before, and hey, i really like it. i also bought some bedding type stuff and purple flip flops with sequins.

i set up phone service for the new apartment, scheduled our move-in, and am beginning to pack. even though i'm not completely moving in until i get a job, i'm excited. it's nice to move in somewhere new. and i'll have somewhere to sleep on the weekends when i'm in the cities. i'll be able to say "my other home" :). "oh yes, my weekend place..."

oh my. i just looked down at the desk and saw a cd my sister apparently burned labeled "old school random christian". i'm laughing.

i'm going out to a state park with nate and some other people tonight. i guess they're camping out there for the holiday weekend. i'll be driving back into town i'm sure. no camping for me tonight.
