Ballet, bedrest, and butter (not really)

I'm supposed to be in the shower right now. Oh well...I'm going to see the Bolshoi Ballet perform the Nutcracker this evening with an old friend. We're going to dinner and then to the show.
I haven't been to a ballet in a looong time. I was so happy to get tickets.
In other news, my stupid temp job as the high school attendance lady has gotten me the flu. I was confused at first. I thought I had food poisoning, then realized after two days that it was actually the flu. I'm feeling much better today though.
Nothing too much of interest these days. Work, sleep, t.v., etc. More later perhaps...
Off to the ballet now.
